In Paisley, the Teeswater and Saugeen Rivers converge ....

Trees under water ...

Like many communities in Bruce County, Paisley is under a flood warning as the rivers overflow their banks.

In Paisley, there are two rivers that converge, the Teeswater and the Saugeen that flows into Lake Huron.

The village was founded in 1852 in a time when the rivers were the highways for shipping supplies and materials.

Then, in 1872 the railway was completed through the community and became a successful and thriving area with industries that included a foundry and woolen mill.

The Paisley dam is completely under water ....

Paisley is also in a low-lying valley and this past week's heavy rains have saturated the grounds.
