A second fundraiser was held on Saturday, April 23rd for Andy Stewart and family who recently lost their home and all possessions in a fire.

A previous BBQ fundraiser was held one week ago at Mowbray's Canadian Tire and, on Saturday, it was a 'pig and turkey' roast at Maple Hall in Port Elgin.

The sold-out event started out with music by 'Pick Studio' of Kincardine.

"We want to thank everyone who came out in support of this event and the Stewart family," said organizer, Constable Adam Sachs.  "Everyone had a great time, including the Stewart family and we raised $5,000 for the family."
