(L-R) Donna Snyder and Steve Wardrop of the Southampton Snowmobile Club presented $1,000 to Saugeen Memorial Hospital's Board Director Mary McCallum that will be used for patient monitoring equipment

Each year, the Southampton Snowmobile Club holds a Memorial Ride in honour of Brian Snyder.

Brian Snyder was an avid snowmobiler and active member of the Club when he passed away and, since then, the Club has honoured his memory with the annual Poker Run in February.

Although dependent on the weather, each winter the group manages to raise funds that go toward the local Saugeen Memorial hospital equipment needs.

Since its beginning, the Brian Snyder Poker Run has raised $27,860 but, over the years, the Snowmobile Club has raised more than $30,000, with the memory of other members.
