On Saturday, April 30th there will be a '50s and '60s music HOP in the Legion Hall. Music is provided by Little Peter and the Elegants from Toronto. Tickets are only $15.00 each and are available at the legion bar. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and dancing starts at 9:00 p.m. 

The Provincial Service Officer, Ms Rebecca Calder, will be visiting Branch 183 Kincardine on Wednesday, May 25th at 1:00 p.m. Anyone wishing information, advice or assistance regarding war disability pension applications, reviews and appeals; treatment for entitled veterans; applications for benevolent funds; or war veterans allowance, including widows, is asked to contact the Branch Service Officer, Peggy Griffin at 519-396-4292 to arrange an interview.

I would like to remind everyone that Branch 183 Kincardine Legion has pool tables, shuffleboard, and dart boards available for use by anyone, not just legion members. These are available for use whenever the legion is open.

Currently the bar hours are as follows: Monday through Friday 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., closed Sunday.

Euchre is played every Friday evening at 7:00 p.m.

Meat draws are held on Saturday afternoons with the first draw at 3:00 p.m.

Kitchen parties are every second Friday evening with the next one being held on April 29th.

Bingo is played every Thursday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m.

For all you bingo players, starting next Thursday, April 28th, we will be hoping for 80 or more people. The first time we reach 80 players or more the $1,000 jackpot will be played, and it will go. So get your friends together and come out to bingo at the legion for a chance at the $1,000 jackpot. All thatís needed is 80 or more players.

Our next Family Dinner will be Sunday, May 15th, with the doors opening at 4:30 p.m.. The meal will be roast beef, vegetables, salad, desert, tea or coffee. The cost of the family dinner is only $14.00 for adults, $12.00 for seniors 65 and over, $10.00 for children 12 and under, and free for those 5 and under. There is also a family rate of $44.00 for 2 adults and 2 children.
