Saugeen Shores hosted it’s 29th Annual Senior Games May 9th to the 19th for adults 55+ testing a variety of their skills with a mixture of activities to choose from. Eleven games were played at various venues throughout Saugeen Shores including 8 Ball and crokinole, bid euchre to more physical activities such as swing bowling and pickleball.
Thirty senior ‘Pickleballers’ were out in full force Tuesday (May 17) at Lakeshore Recreation Centre in Port Elgin, competing for the top spot in hopes to qualify to advance to the District Games to be held May 30 to June 10.

The Games will wrap up with participants and sponsors being recognized and celebrated during an afternoon awards banquet Friday (May 20) at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 340 in Port Elgin.
