Saugeen Shores Police Services Board is looking for the public's input on a possible expansion of the existing police building in Port Elgin (Saugeen Shores).

The former Police Chief, Paul Brown, at the time of construction advised that 10,000 sq. feet would be needed to meet the wide variety of needs of the police service.  Unfortunately, however the building was constructed at only , sq. ft.

Two public information meetings are being planned for later in the summer to gather public input regarding the infrastructure needs.

On addition, two members of the public will be invited to join a committee to make recommendations regarding the building's lack of space.
