Southampton Rotarians welcomed guests and potential members

Rotarian Shawn Thompson was seeking pledge donors for the upcoming Huron Shores Run on Saturday, June 4th ... Thompson has been the largest individual fundraiser for several years for the event whose main recipient is the Saugeen Memorial Hospital
Rotary Clubs have been involved in a wide variety of activities, both globally and locally. In Southampton, the local group has been involved projects that included: the Jubilee Accessible Playground/Park, the Huron Shore Run fundraiser, the Rotary Scout Hall, the Rotary Pavilion at Fairy Lake, supporting organizations such as Probus, the Interac Club and the Rail Trail 75th anniversary among many others.
One of the major international focuses has been the eradication world-wide of polio.
