Pretty in Pink gets a helping hand from PWU

On September 14th, 2012, Pretty in Pink held their first ladies golf tournament at the Saugeen Golf Club as they headed toward their fundraising goal of $100,000 for the Memorial Hospital Foundation for Cancer Care.

On Friday, June 27th, the Pretty in Pink group received a financial helping hand from the Power Workers Union (PWU), when Linda Crombeen presented a cheque for $1,000.

"We've had simply amazing support from the community," said Co-Chair Sylvia Sheard, "and this is another example.  This is the second year that the PWU has stepped forward like this and we so appreciate it."

Now, with the goal in site, this year, on June 17th, Pretty in Pink will host its last golf tournament ... "ALL PINKED OUT " followed up with their grand finale ... Denim and Diamonds on September 3rd.
