The Southampton Rotary club supported a washroom renovation in partnership with the Town of Saugeen Shores, ensuring accessibility for all at Perkins Park.

The newly renovated facility is more accessible than before, with accessible handles/grab bars, widened doorways, tilted accessible mirrors and accessible counter tops.

"Itís important to be an inclusive community. Iím pleased with the partnership between the municipality and the Southampton Rotary group. Their generosity is always appreciated, especially with community projects like the accessible washrooms at Perkins Park,"  said Frank Burrows, Parks Manager.

The Town of Saugeen Shores continues to work toward creating accessible spaces for all to enjoy. Parks and facilities are continuously being retrofitted to ensure a more inclusive community, for persons of all abilities.
