Pretty in Pink
... the finale
Out of doors and inside ... it was a sea of frothy pink
Among the 'ball tossers' watching anxiously were Jo Ann Sturgeon, Vicki Conlontino and Jan Holmes
Pretty in Pink held its fifth and final FUNdraiser golf tournament on Friday, June 17th.
The organizing committee headed up by Sylvia Sheard held the 'All Pinked Out' sold-out event at Saugeen Golf Club to raise funds for the group's commitment toward its final goal of $100,000 for Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation Regional Cancer Care.

The day began with pink martinis before the golfers headed out on to the course for their shot-gun start in the nine-hole scramble.
... and then they were off for a shot-gun start!
Auctioneer Pat O'Connor had the audience in stitches and bidding ... the auction raised $4,925
... hmmmm ... not much left to say!
"The main raffle raised $2,170 and the Pretty Boys 'drives' raised another $350," says co-chair Sylvia Sheard. "Overall we anticipate that we have raised well over $10,000 for the day which is amazing and our best golf fundraiser ever. It is so great to go out on such a high and on such a perfect day."
Jan Holmes came within six inches of an actual hole-in-one ... teammates Karen Schroeder and Jan McGarry watched as she putted for a birdie!
The last 'Grand Finale' in the fundraising effort will take place on Saturday, September 3rd when the Southampton Coliseum will once again be transformed for the gala dinner and evening ... 'Denim and Diamonds'.
The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a cocktail reception and appetizers followed by a four-course dinner. Once dinner is over, the fun-filled evening begins with dancing to the 'Lulu' band, door prizes, a live auction and 'diamond raffle'.
All proceeds go the SMHF Regional Cancer Care and tickets (now available at Infinite Lingerie & Active Wear in Southampton) are $100 (with a tax receipt of $20).
"We encourage everyone to wear their denim and lots of bling," say co-Chairs, Sylvia Sheard and Cheryl Heizer, who, after the event, will finally 'ride off into the sunset with the Pretty in Pink team and the Pretty Boys.
