There's a little buzz around G. C. Huston School in Southampton that's getting louder every day as things continue to get prepped for the first day of school.
A little idea has taken off that we hope everyone will help to support. The idea? It's to get a group of people together at the school on Wednesday, August 31st, to spend some time to 'spruce up' the outside before the kids arrive back.
The dedicated teachers have already made a head start by installing a new garden at the front of the school beside the bus (main) entrance sidewalk to welcome all the students back in a beautiful way.
The School Parent Council, awesome Principal Dan Russell and some generous residents are all set to provide refreshments and snacks for everyone who comes out to help.
G. C. Huston is the heart of the community so join the enthusiasm and energy to make the outdoor playgrounds and classroom ready for another successful school year.
