From the Desk of the Chief

Overall, the September Long Weekend came and left without any major incidents. The police were busy with the volume of people in our area.

Also REMEMBER:  School is in! Please drive cautiously all the time but pay particular attention around school zones, school crossings and watch for school buses.

Another reminder that we are starting our next Business Planning cycle for 2017- 2019 and have our Community Survey out.

It is also at www.saugeenshorespolice.com .

Community Watch members are doing a random phone survey. Paper copies of the survey are also at the police office, town office, both post offices, both chambers of commerce. Please take the time it allows for a committee to create goals and objectives for the next three years for YOUR police service.

Dan Rivett,
Chief of Police.
