Search continues for missing man believed drowned

The search for a missing man believed to be drowned in Lake Huron off the shore of Southampton, ON continued throughout today (Sept. 20th).

The man, a local Southampton resident, had been kayaking yesterday, Monday (Sept. 19) when his kayak overturned.  He was not wearing wearing a lifejacket.

The search began yesterday with several agencies taking part, including the OPP Search & Rescue and Saugeen Shores Police and Fire, the Coast Guard and Chantry Island Marine Heritage Society.
