The concert was a fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Society with a free-will offering  and was jointly hosted by Southampton United and St. Paul's Anglican churches.

"I always enjoy coming home to play," said Little, who grew up on Port Elgin. "This is a great venue and this piano is so responsive and wonderful to play on."

Today, Little is a student at Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo studying piano performance and music theory.

Rev. Chuck Beaton

Rev. Chuck Beaton said, "We (community) have watched you since you were little, so we feel you are really one of ours.  Some artists have something special inside that enables them to interpret music in a special way and Adrian has that gift."

Little studied piano with local teacher, Sahar Hassanien, who was also a concert pianist and who was in the audience.  "He's become a wonderful performer," she said.

A total amount raised for the Alzheimer's Society has not yet been determined.
