It was a back-to-back win for Dayna Dereulle's team of Brampton at the 2016 Port  Elgin Super Spiel.

Deruelle and Peter Mellor's team from Kitchener battled it out on Sunday afternoon at the Port Elgin Curling Club as the Super Spiel weekend came to a close.

Deruelle defeated Mellor 7 - 2 in seven ends to take first place and the $5,500 purse.  Mellor's team won $2,750 for their loss.

With $18,000 in prize money, the Port Elgin event is one of the richest bonspiels on the Ontario Curling circuit.

The three day event from November 18 - 20, saw 24 teams come from across Ontario to take part.
