Welland's new Galleria at the Main Street draw bridge

Former Southampton artist, Pat Cassavoy, is now putting her artistic stamp in a new community.

Cassavoy and her husband, Marine Archeologist Ken Cassavoy, moved from Southampton to Welland (ON) where Pat Cassavoy has opened a new studio.

A prolific artist, in Southampton Cassavoy had her 'Group of One' studio on Albert Street (Hwy. 21) adjacent to the former Shular garage site.

Her 'nude' figures have sold throughout North America and, while in Southampton, she was  known for her paintings of local landscapes such as Southampton's Chantry Island lighthouse and famous sunsets.

Today, Cassavoy works and sells her art work in her newly opened studio at the 'Galleria', a new small interior mall in downtown Welland located on Main Street beside the old canal .
