Buffet turkey dinner pleased everyone

Chantry Island Cham-bettes had reason to celebrate as it was the end of another year of successful fundraising and the club's 60th year anniversary.

Approximately 80 women attended the annual Christmas dinner at Saugeen Golf Club on Tuesday evening, December 6th.

The group of local women recently completed their annual Christmas Home Tour in Saugeen Shores and that broke all attendance records this year.  The tour raised funds for the local hospital foundation and children's charity, Caitlyn Cobean's Crusaders and Tara 'Boom' Houston Children's Foundation.

Once details are finalized from the Home Tour, the group will make a presentation of funds to the two recipient charitable organizations.
