Saugeen First Nation's 'Grandfather Teachings' continue to be explored through paintings designed by the students of G. C. Huston Public School in Southampton (Saugeen Shores)

The doors of the classrooms are in the process of being painted to artistically represent each of the teachings.

Each month, a classroom door is being painted with the result that all seven teachings will be completed by the end of the school year.  The second door leading into the kindergarten room was recently completed to represent 'bravery'.  The painting depicts a bear protecting a child.
