We would like to thank the many readers who offered their congratulations to us as we celebrate our 10th anniversary.

As we have said many times, we are an independent news source for our community(s) that strives to keep our readers informed on local events and happenings throughout the year.

For those who would like to comment and/or participate in keeping readers informed, we welcome your submissions and photos.

Once again, our sincere appreciation to those many readers who took the time to send us their congratulations.  We have included only some of them and we look forward to many more years of providing you, the readers, with your local community news and to be able to provide you with a forum to voice your concerns over issues.

To the Editor:

Congratulations on your 10th anniversary. Yours is the first publication I read every morning  and have for most of those years.

You have so many wonderful contributors who make me smile and sometimes cry.  Please continue the good work  (especially your weather videos)  and thank you for  being part of my day.

Iris Bowers.

To the Editor:

It is so much fun going to your videos and hearing you laugh as you describe what is going on. Thanks for the entertainment.

We can see for ourselves why we are glad not to be seeing it all in person.

To the Editor:

Great work, Sandy.

I check the site daily. We are not in Florida this winter but other years when we are, I find it great to check on the Saugeen activities.

Thanks for your 10 years.

To the Editor:

I just wanted to thank you for your continued and dedicated support of our Annual Reindeer Romp.

It seems like a century ago when three of us decided to go for a Christmas Eve Day run from Fitness Corner. The next year, there were 10…and it has just kept growing. In the very early days, we even finished up with champagne and orange juice!!

On Christmas Eve morning, we ended up raising $1100 for Grey Bruce Mental Health~ Bruce Shoreline, so we were thrilled!!

Thanks again for your support! You do such a great job with the Saugeen Times!

To the Editor:

Sandy Lindsay is to be commended for an excellent and very successful endeavour in providing local news online. I am but one of many appreciative readers who follow the stories and the ensuing public reactions to these, whether I am home or away.

Saugeen Times is a gem that not only keeps the community connected, it provides a voice for local concerns and is a pipeline to the world, showcasing the area.

Here’s to ten more years!

To the Editor:

Kudos to Sandy for keeping us connected to Saugeen Shores when we return to our winter communities.

This service has been wonderful-how does she do it continually? does she never take a vacation?

We appreciate the thorough dedication and continue to wonder "how can she be everywhere?"

Thank you so much.

Anne Holman.
