According to Saugeen Hospital Auxiliary Valentine’s Tea Covener, Audrey Perrott, the event was a "..real winner all the way around".

The Tea raised $1,100, through the support of a generous public who came out to enjoy tea and sweets with their friends, and which will go to the hospital.

There were also several winners throughout the afternoon of the 50/50 and raffle draws:

  •  Maxine Cameron, who has been an Auxiliary member since 1978, came out with friends to support the tea and won $94.50 in our 50/50 draw.

  • Elli Kennedy was the winner of a gift certificate for a 60 minute Massage Therapy valued at $90 donated by Register Massage Therapist Michelle Hannigan at the Southampton Chiropractic Clinic.

  • Mae Hall won a $50 PC gift card donated by Rowlands Independent Grocer.

  • Gwen Becker won an appliqued throw quilt  donated by Doug Waddell from Bedding & Things at the Southampton Market (pictured on the right with myself showing it to her friends at the Chantry Center).

  • Sandra MacPhail also won a throw quilt in peach and white donated by Doug Waddell from Bedding & Things.

"We want to thank everyone for supporting the Hospital Auxiliary through donations, attending events and the team of volunteers who work together to make it a success," said Perrott.
