The Municipality of Kincardine is very pleased to announce that Council has approved an agreement with Dr. Angela Cavanagh to take up her medical practice in the Municipality of Kincardine, January 2018.

Born and raised in the Township of Huron-Kinloss, she is excited to be returning home.

Dr. Cavanagh completed her medical degree at Western University in London in 2015 and is finishing family medicine residency at Queen’s University at the Belleville/Quinte site.

She is the author of several publications in the journal Cartilage, as well as many published abstracts about osteoarthritis research done during her Master’s degree at the University of Guelph.

Along with her husband and two daughters, Angela likes to spend her time outdoors, camping, hiking and canoeing. She is looking forward to coming to Kincardine as it's such a great community to live and raise a family.

"We are fortunate that Dr. Cavanagh made the decision to join the Kincardine physicians group. We had the opportunity to work with Angela for a period during her residency and we are confident that she will be a great addition to the physician group and community. Angela will access patients that are currently without a physician." Dr. Lisa Scott
