Two days of free skating fun and free skates for growing feet!

The Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in conjunction with the Bruce Peninsula Safe Communities Committee, the United Way, Bruce Power and the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC)-Lions Head and Wiarton Branches have two dates set for free skating and fun for the family!

The employees of Bruce Power have generously donated several pairs of skates for community members to hand out at the Lion’s Head Arena and the Wiarton Arena and Community Centre. Both events are sponsored by the Royal Bank of Canada who has donated free skate times, yummy hot chocolate, a photo both to capture the moment, free giveaways, and a special visit by RBC’s Leo the Lion.

Skate times are as follows:  

Wiarton Event on Family Day Monday February 20, 2017 From 1:00-2:00 p.m. Wiarton Arena and Community Centre located at 526 Taylor Street, Wiarton  

Lion Head Event during March Break Friday March 17, 2017 From 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Lion’s Head Area located at 4 Tackabury Street, Lions Head
