The Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has received multiple complaints of theft, from unlocked vehicles in the area of Bruce Road 13 towards Oliphant, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula. The thefts occurred between the evening hours of January 12 to January 13, 2017.

The on-going investigation has revealed a lone male was entering unlocked vehicles, which were parked in private driveways.

The suspect stole approximately $100, a hunting knife, A/C convertor, flashlight and a fuse. 

The male suspect is described as white, thin build and approximately 510 to 6 in height. He was wearing a beanie style toque, a hooded ski jacket dark in colour except for a lighter colour across the shoulders, jeans, and sneakers.

The Bruce Peninsula OPP is requesting citizens to report any suspicious persons or behaviour or vehicles roaming the area to call the Bruce Peninsula OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

On January 22, 2017 at 10:02 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a theft report from a property along Concession 6 in Greenock Township.  Sometime between 9:00 p.m. on January 15, 2017 and 10:00 a.m. on January 22, 2017, an outbuilding on the property was entered. 

The list of missing property includes a Green Honda 400 All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) licence #672LW, an Orange Stihl chainsaw model 361MS and a Brown Stihl chainsaw model 260.  The value of the stolen property is estimated to be more than $3,000.

The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122.
