SDSS Senior Girls Royals Volleyball Team off to CWOSSA

St. Mary's Jr. Mustangs defeat Royals

The Senior Girls Volleyball Team of Saugeen District Secondary School (SDSS) is off to compete in the Central Western Ontario Secondary School Asssociation (CWOSSA) championships.

On Thursday, February 15th, the team came up against Owen Sound District Secondary School (OSDSS) and, after hard fought tournament, they defeated their opponents after winning three games in the best out of five.

The double AA team heads off to CWOSSA on February 23rd where they will compete for the championships in Paris (ON).

While the Senior Royals will be off to CWOSSA, the Junior Royals were not quite so fortunate.

The Royals competed against Owen Sound's St. Mary's Mustangs but came up short after a heated battle that brought them back to tie the series at two sets each.

Unfortunately, for the Royals however, St. Mary's came through to take the third in the best ouf of give so the Mustangs are off to CWOSSA.
