Ladies Night Out to learn more about apprenticeships in the trades

Young women today still make up a small minority of those who register in apprenticeship programs in the trades.

Many young women apparently are either not aware of this possibility or do not see a career in the trades as an option.


The Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board is hosting a 'Ladies Night Out' as an opportunity for young women to come out and try the Trades with some   hands-on experience in the Wood, Automotive, Manufacturing and Hospitality shops at Sacred Heart High School.

 Dinner will be provided and it will be a chance for young women to explore the new Innovation Lab and learn about the many opportunities available through the skilled trades.
