Shallow Lake Skating Club has four new gold medal skaters following High Test Day on February 12th.

Madison Rettinger, Caprice Ricks, Olivia Weigan and Gus Bolton, coached by Val Weber and Amanda Spaetzel, completed their Gold Interpretive programs.

The Club is a member of Skate Canada and Skate Canada Central Ontario and offers top quality programming at various levels, from Recreational beginner of skating basics to the more competitive.

As part of CANSkate, Shallow Lake Club introduces skaters to fundamental movements such as stopping turning, spinning and jumping.  Skaters move on though six stages receiving badges at each level.

In addition, there are programs for hockey, ringette players in the PowerSkate program,  special needs for Special Olympians and also Synchronized Skating.

STARSkate programs include those often seen in competition:  Dance, Freeskating, Skills and Interpretive.
