Customers serviced by the Kincardine Water Treatment Plant are being asked to conserve water. This includes the town of Kincardine, Huronville and the pipeline to Inverhuron.

Due to an emergency situation at the Kincardine Water Treatment Plant these areas are now being fed from the Huron Kinloss Lakeshore Drinking Water System. To ensure that the Huron Kinloss system can provide enough water for both their users and ours, we are asking all customers conserve water as much as possible.

Please be aware that the water from the Huron Kinloss groundwater wells have elevated levels of naturally occurring sodium and fluoride. Users may also experience a difference in pressure, colour and taste at this time.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Water Services office at 519 396-4660.
