Flag expert, resident Doug Johnson, had his flags of Ireland on display

Toes were tapping and residents were in their shamrock green at the St. Paddy's day pub in Port Elgin's Kingsway Arms at Elgin Lodge retirement home.

Following a St. Patrick's day lunch, residents then moved into the 'pub' for Irish music by 'Take One' and refreshments.

Ever effervescent Vi Cottrill was decked out in her Irish green

Family and friends joined the residents and joined in the many sing-alongs.  There's no doubt that these young-at-heart residents know how to celebrate special occasions and, for many, with an Irish background, this was a special day.
