The largest outdoor Maple Syrup Festival in Grey and Bruce Counties is just around the corner! Itís the Saugeen Bluffs Maple Syrup Festival (March 25th and 26th), at Saugeen Bluffs Conservation Area, 3 km north of Paisley off Bruce Road #3.

As always, there are new attractions and added festivities! This year Saugeen Bluffs will feature two of HDTVs wood Carver Kings!

In addition, enjoy 4-Paws Flying Entertainment Dog Shows as well as the Grey Bruce Tree Workers. Live entertainment, horse-drawn wagon rides, a bigger and better pioneer encampment, kids activities, train rides, maple games, and, of course lots of hot-off the grill pancakes and real maple syrup are just some of the ongoing festivities throughout the weekend! Prices for meals range from $4.00 to $7.00, depending on your appetite! An ATM machine is available on-site.

Itís a natural extravaganza! Directed by the Saugeen Valley Conservation Foundation (SVCF), the annual event attracts a cast of thousands, so mark your calendars for March 25 and 26th. Curtains rise at 10am and this virtual 3D production will conclude at 4pm both days.

For those travelling from Southampton or Port Elgin, take the new S.S. Trolley! Sponsored by the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce, visitors can ride in style. The cost is only $1.00/ adult. As well, free bus transportation is also available from Paisley for both days. Visitors on both the trolley and buses will be taken directly down into the heart of the event and taken directly back to their pick-up locations afterwards.

The Saugeen Bluffs Maple Syrup Festival has been reviewed by critics for over 45 years and continues to garner applause and accolades from families, far and wide.

All proceeds from this event go directly to local conservation efforts, a commitment of both the Saugeen Valley Conservation Foundation and Saugeen Conservation in helping to provide a healthy environment for ourselves and future generations
