The annual Senior Games, about to begin in Saugeen Shores, recently received a financial hand from Ontario Power Generation (OPG) when it became a Gold Sponsor. The Games begin on Tuesday, April 11th and run until May 19th. The Games, that are expected to draw some 100 local seniors, have a wide variety of 13 events throughout Saugeen Shores that include card games such as Euchre, Bridge and Cribbage in addition to snooker, crokinole, scrabble, swing bowling and pickleball. At the end of the Games, participants celebrate with the Awards Luncheon that will be held at the Chantry Centre in Southampton on May 19th.
