Initial investigation has determined that a motor vehicle southbound on Arlington Street left the road and collided with a tree.

One male occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second male was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Grey Bruce Health Services – Southampton. This male was then airlifted to hospital in London. He is in critical condition.

The accident is being investigated by Saugeen Shores Police with the assistance of Ontario Provincial Police Technical Traffic Collision Investigators.
