Despite the strange weather we've had over the past few weeks, it is spring. And IC Greenhouses is blooming with spring flowers and ready to serve its customers, open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Located on the 6th of Huron-Kinloss, two miles east of Highway 21, the greenhouses have a variety of colourful spring pansies and perennials, as well as four-inch and six-inch pots of geraniums, along with impatiens, begonias, Gerbera daisies, grasses, and much more.
Owner/operator Ida Piel and her staff welcome you to stop in and see what's available to brighten up your home and garden, including a vast assortment of gorgeous containers and garden decor.
IC Greenhouses will be holding its spring open house on Mother's Day weekend, May 10-11, with refreshments and great draw prizes. Following the Mother's Day open house, IC Greenhouses will be open Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The business will be a featured stop on the Huron-Kinloss Ice Cream Trail this year; and Piel is donating to the Kincardine hospital auxiliary 50 cents for every hanging basket sold.
Stop in at IC Greenhouses today or call 519-395-3610.
