About 25 youngsters, ages four to 12, joined a dozen leaders for the New Year Adventure Camp at Kincardine Baptist Church, beginning Monday (Dec. 28) and running to Wednesday (Dec. 30).

The event is operating under the theme, "Catch the Fire," in recognition of the Olympic Torch Relay which came through Kincardine Monday afternoon. The group walked to Victoria Park and watched the torch run pass by.

The adventure camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day and features games, crafts, songs, and outdoor fun, along with a Bible message given by Pastor Kenneth Craig.
