Reverend Keith Reynolds of Southampton and Port Hope United Church parishes was inducted as President of Hamilton Conference of the United Church of Canada.

Reynolds was elected President and inducted at the 89th annual Conference held at the Canadian Auto Workers (CAW) Family Education Centre on May 26, 2013.

Hamilton Conference is one of 13 Conferences of the United Church of Canada that includes 60,000 church members in 245 pastoral charges.

Hamilton Conference provides leadership and support to six Presbyteries (Bruce, Erie, Halton, Hamilton, Niagara and Waterloo) to enable a variety of ministries in the Presbyteries and congregations and to do the work of General Council in the area bounded by Mississauga and Kitchener-Waterloo and Tobermory and Niagara.

While the next year will entail travel for the newly elected President, Reynolds acknowledges the support of his family for his decision to accept the position.  "I couldn't do this without the support of my wife Jeffi and our three children," says Reynolds.
