Community Foundation Grey Bruce was pleased to present over $17,741 to seven First Nations students who have applied for assistance with post secondary costs.

The First Nations People’s Scholarship Endowed Fund, established in 2005 by a generous anonymous donation, distributes scholarships each year from the earned income.

The purpose of this fund is to provide financial assistance for post secondary studies to students from Cape Croker, Saugeen First Nation or First Nation’s Peoples living off reserve in Grey and Bruce Counties.

“We had a wonderful group of applicants this year, these students have very bright futures”, says Roberta Brignell, Executive Director of Community Foundation Grey Bruce.
