55 Years Later ...

Jan and Garnet Ferguson are surprised with an anniversary celebration

Celebrating in their favourite place ... Tim Horton's Port Elgin

Tim Horton's Port Elgin had reason to celebrate on Friday, September 6th (2013).

It was the 55th anniversary of Jan and Garnet Ferguson, two of the most loyal customer who never miss a day of coffee and meeting with friends.

The Ferguson were married 55 years ago on September 6th at All Saints Anglican Church in Niagara Falls.

The couple had three sons who, today are a dentist in North Bay, a high school teacher in Saugeen Shores and an employee of the Ministry of Highways in Toronto.

"I always wanted a girl too," says Jan Ferguson, "but my three boys are the best anyone could ever hope for."

"We are thrilled to help celebrate this special occasion," said Tim Horton's owner, Louise Harshman.  "The Fergusons are very special.  They come in every day and, if they don't, we wonder why."
