to minor soccer, another event Sept. 14 for hockey

Kincardine Minor Soccer is $4,720 richer thanks to Montgomery Ford, Ford Canada, and all the people who took part in the Drive 4 UR Community event held in June at the Davidson Centre.

Shannon White, dealer sales manager for Ford Canada, and Ian Montgomery, dealer principal for Montgomery Ford in Kincardine and Lucknow, were at Montgomery's in Kincardine Wednesday morning to present the cheque toGord Kemp, Montgomery's service manager, and coach co-ordinator for Kincardine Minor Soccer.

Kemp said the Drive 4 UR Community event for soccer was a great success.

However, his goal is to reach the 300 test drives and the maximum donation of $6,000 from Ford Canada at the next Drive 4 UR Community in support of Kincardine Minor Hockey. That event is slated for Sept. 14, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Davidson Centre.
