It was hard to tell whether the pet owners or their animals were being tested the most in the many challenges at the Fun Dog Show, part of the Kincardine Fall Fair, Friday night in Connaught Park.

About 20 dogs participated in the event which involves competing in agility, rally course, conformation, paw-print artwork, sit-and-stay, and tricks. There was also the costume parade with the theme, "Keeping it Country."

That was won by Terri Morris of Kincardine and her dog, "Rudy," who was sporting a "Country Chia Pet" costume.

Organizer Barbara Long Kersey of Aintree Trailer Park has announced this is her final dog show at the fair. She has enjoyed setting up the event but says it's time for other volunteers to take over.

The dog show is sponsored by Country Depot and Queen Street Vet, along with many door prize donations.
