GET YOUR PICKLE ON

Right now, we have drop-in Pickleball on the following days:
Monday and Wednesday
1-4:30 p.m.
$2 drop-in fee
Starting Sept. 4, there will be Tuesday morning drop-in, from 9 a.m. to noon.

SUNDAY SING-A-LONG

Join us in Dunsmoor Park at 7:30 p.m. for some musical fun! Donations are accepted to help keep this tradition going. July 29 entertainment: Steve Deer & Company.

TERRY FOX RUN

Calling all volunteers! It is that time of year again; we are looking for volunteers to help make this year's Terry Fox Run run a success! If you would like to assist in any way, contact Angela at 519-396-3491 or E-mail at recsupervisor@bmts.com.

FALL RECREATION GUIDE

Can you believe it? The Fall Recreation Guide is here for you to peruse at your leisure, and available on-line at the Kincardine Times. The fall session will begin Sept. 10, so you still have time to check out the new programs, including Zumbatonic for Kids, a Sport Night for Children, and Tai Chi for Adults. If you have any questions, please feel free to let us know at the Davidson Centre.

ZUMBATOMIC

The goal of Zumbatomic is to develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of children’s lives while having fun. Zumbatomic also helps teach skills, such as leadership, respect, team work, confidence and responsibility. There are two age groups and the class runs twice a week; Tuesday evening and Saturday morning. It is $90 per child and the program starts Sept 11.

Littlestarz: ages four to seven - classes are Tuesday, 5-6 p.m., and Saturday 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Bigstarz: ages eight to 12 - classes are Tuesday, 6:30-7:30 p.m., and Saturday, 11 a.m. to Noon.

 

SPORT NIGHT

This new program will be lots of fun for children ages 8-13. During this 10-week program, children will sign up to come every Friday night to try their hand at a different sport. We will be offering floor hockey, pickleball, soccer, basketball, badminton, volleyball and much more! The cost is $60 per person.

  • Ages 8-12: 6-7 p.m.
  • Ages 13-18: 7-8 p.m.

TAI CHI EASY

Monday, from 10:45-11:45 a.m., come and enjoy our new Tai Chi Easy class. It is only $40 per person for a session that runs from Sept 10 to Dec. 3 (no class
