Michelle Burgess loved the out-of-doors and, in recognition of her love of nature, family, friends and co-workers have dedicated special spaces in her memory on the Saugeen Rail Trail.

In Southampton, on Sunday, August 12, friends and family gathered at the Memorial Park (Peel & Grosvenor Sts.) to remember Burgess and other families whose members have died.

The Southampton Park area has become a reflective space and one of memories where trees are planted in memory of family or friends.
