Saturday brought a brief thaw in this winter's freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall.

The sunshine and warm weather drew people outside to enjoy the reprieve as they walked along the snow-covered beach and along the south pier at the Kincardine Harbour.

However, the melting snow also caused havoc for motorists as they attempted to maneuver through a huge puddle on the north side of the intersection of Highway 21 and Russell Street, Kincardine.

The warm weather will last until Monday when the cold and snow returns.
