Who knows what future Olympians may come from a local winter competition held in a little elementary school?

G. C. Huston Public School in Southampton (Saugeen Shores) held its annual Winterama fun day (as part of Rotary Winterama) on Friday, February 14, 2014.

It was a day of 'fun competition' that included eight events of outdoor soccer, outdoor volleyball, hill sliding, team skiing, snow-fort building and the new, 'luge'.

Participants included the entire student school body, all teachers, many parents and membes of the local Rotary International Club.

With an outdoor fire-pit and a delicious hot venison stew lunch with hot chocolate, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day

For some, snowshoeing was a first-time
