South Bruce OPP report public drunk, and impaired driver

HIGHLY-INTOXICATED WOMAN SPENDS NIGHT
IN CUSTODY

(WALKERTON, ON) June 4, at 9:49 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of a woman standing in the middle of Scott Street, Walkerton.  

Officers arrived to find the woman was highly intoxicated and disoriented. 48-year-old Teresa JOHNSTON of Durham was arrested and charged with Public intoxication. She was held in custody for the night.

ANOTHER IMPAIRED DRIVER FACING DAY IN COURT

(KINCARDINE, ON) June 4, at 5:22 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of an impaired driver travelling through Kincardine in a red Toyota Corolla.

Officers located the vehicle on Queen Street North, Kincardine, and discovered that the driver had been drinking alcohol. 65-year-old John THOMPSON of Kincardine has been charged with Operate over 80 milligrams. He is scheduled to appear in provincial court July 16 to answer to the charge.
