It was worth the drive to IC Greenhouses on the weekend to choose from among a glorious array of flowering plants, hanging baskets, containers and planters.

The place was busy Saturday and Sunday, as people came to the spring open house to get their flowers, in anticipation of a sunny long weekend to plant them.

Customers not only had a wide selection of beautiful flowers to choose from, they also received 10 per cent off their purchases.

And for each hanging basket sold during the month of May, IC Greenhouses is donating $1 to the Kincardine hospital auxiliary.

It's worth the drive to IC Greenhouses, south of Kincardine, about two miles east of Highway 21 on the 6th Concession of Huron-Kinloss.
