South Bruce OPP report two-vehicle crash, and thefts

TWO-VEHICLE CRASH RESULTS IN INJURIES

(KINCARDINE, ON) – May 17, at 3:51 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Queen Street and Broadway in Kincardine.  

Officers arrived to find that a black Ford pick-up had been stopped on Queen Street facing north, when a beige Ford Focus travelling north hit the rear of the pick-up.  Both occupants of the car and the driver of the truck were taken to Kincardine hospital for assessment of non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation continues.

MASONRY SAW STOLEN FROM SCHOOL PROJECT

(KINCARDINE TWP, ON)May 17, at 11:45 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of a masonry saw theft from a residence in the 5000 block of Highway 9, Kincardine Township.  

Sometime between 4 p.m. May 16, and 11:30 a.m. May 17, a grey and orange 2004 14-inch Stihl masonry saw was taken. The saw has CRS and Bervie Construction stickers on it, and was being used by Kincardine District Secondary School’s masonry program students. The value of the stolen saw is estimated to be $400.

POLICE LOOKING FOR STOLEN GENERATOR

(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE TWP, ON)May 17, at 10:34 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of a generator theft from a farm property in the 500 block of Sideroad 20, Arran Elderslie Township.  

Sometime between 10:30 a.m. May 16, and 10:30 a.m. May 17, a red 2006 Honda EZ3500 generator, 
Serial No. 1033769 was taken. The stolen generator is valued at $1,700.
