South Bruce OPP Walkerton detachment moving into new office

(BROCKTON, ON)The South Bruce OPP will be moving the Walkerton detachment to the newly-constructed building at #25 Bruce County Road 19 in the Municipality of Brockton.  

The new office is located just north of Bruce County Road 4 on Bruce County Road 19. 

The move will occur Jan. 17-18. A minor interruption in administrative services is anticipated at the Walkerton office. These services include criminal record checks, collision reporting and general information inquiries.

The administration services at the new office location will be available, starting Jan. 19. 

South Bruce OPP detachment commander inspector Bill Klym assures the public that the move will not affect South Bruce OPP policing operations.

“Administrative services will be affected while we move into the new building," he says. "However, police officers will be available for any and all calls for service during this time. Anyone wishing to contact police is asked to call the 24-hour OPP dispatch centre at 1-888-310-1122.


The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122.  Should you wish to remain anonymous, you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or send a web-tip to crimestop-gb.org, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
