*Please note we remove duplicate votes from the same source.  Computers keep track of that type of thing easily.  It's a waste of time voting more than once.  If you have a  longer comment than 400 characters, Please email us with your extended comment..

In this survey there were an inordinate number of multiple votes with a comment that indicated anger and/or frustration.  We counted only one vote whether No or Yes.

Multiple voting .... hmmmm.  You can express your opinion easily in the comments without trying to influence the vote one way or another.  Most people just vote and don't comment.

Another Government Rip Off!

I think its crazy raising the price so much. It will probably mean less mail that people will send out especially Christmas cards

I can't remember the last time I bought a stamp. It just doesn't make sense anymore.

Just means that we sign up for more bills and accounts online and make payments online instead of mailing. My regrets are for the excellent postal workers in this community who will be affected

So much for Canada Post .. They thought they lost business before .. They sure as heck will now !

I guess the government figures that slitting their own throat is the way to go. Let's charge big money and wonder why we fall faster

I won't be using the mail service nearly as much now.

I think a 35% increase is ridiculous!

Definitely. We'll just stop mailing altogether.

Yes, I think I'll save the card too and email my birthday wishes from now on.

We still have e-mails for letters and telephones for more personal greetings. Banks make it easy to pay bills - down with Canada Post!

Between the price of buying a nice card and the stamp to mail it a phone call will likely cost less and is more personal in the end.

I am still a firm believer in mailing out Christmas cards to family and friends. However, at this cost, it will be e-mails and phone calls.

People will completely go to the impersonal e-mail. Actual penmanship will be forgotten and finding a box of old letters will be a thing of the past.

I will be sending even more letters/corespondence by mail. For sure, I will be stopping sending Christmas cards. They are cutting off their own foot

Sorry to say but Christmas cards will be OUT! Not good for Seniors, especially those without computers! SAD SAD SAD...but one did expect downsizing of POSTAL SERVICE with the electronic age! TMITTH

I will definitely be using less of our postal service.
