Kincardine’s youth coalition, Youth Waves, is hosting another exciting event Saturday night at the Kincardine Arts Centre.

Youth Waves is a not-for-profit organization that works together with the community to create opportunities for local youth to speak, learn and play within Kincardine.

The coalition is holding a music showcase called Beatz4Youth, featuring the following local artists:

  • Brontae Hunter
  • Ben Turcotte
  • Beverly Ann Foster
  • Francis and Alessandro Lozada
  • Robbie Meek's Trio
  • May as Well Band

Doors open at 7 p.m. and admission is $5. All proceeds go to Youth Waves which is organizing all elements of the evening.

This event has been made possible with the co-operation of the Kincardine Theatre Guild which is making the arts centre available, and the Kincardine Business Improvement Area (BIA) which is helping to fund the evening.

“This is another example of our downtown businesses supporting the arts, culture and heritage in our community,” says Rick Clarke, downtown development manager. “Our downtown business owners live in our community, are raising their families here and are committed to improving the lifestyle of our residents, including our youth.”
