The KDSS Kinetic Knights need to fund-raise about $25,000 to compete at the world robotics championship in St. Louis, Missouri

The Kincardine District Secondary School Kinetic Knights robotics team is holding a fund-raising dinner at the Best Western Governor's Inn on Thursday, April 21, from 6-8 p.m.

The event will help the Knights raise about $25,000 to cover the cost of taking the 40-member team, and its 10 mentors, to St. Louis, Missouri, to compete in the world robotics championship.

The team qualified for the worlds after being part of the alliance that won gold at the Greater Toronto West regional earlier this month.

The fund-raiser features a buffet dinner, entertainment, and a silent auction. Tickets are $30 each and are available at Jerome Flowers in downtown Kincardine, or from any team member.

Only 80 tickets are available so purchase yours soon.
