The Kincardine Air Cadets are seeking additional adult leadership for the local squadron of enthusiastic young people, ages 12-19.

If you have an interest in helping youth develop leadership skills and strive for excellence, your assistance is needed.

Air Cadets is an organization that boys and girls can join any time after their 12th birthday. Through weekly training nights, the Cadets, led by their peers, study subjects such as aircraft Identification, weather patterns, citizenship criteria and much more. They learn the fundamentals of precision marching and presenting themselves in a professional manner.
Extra activities that the Cadets take part in from time to time are exchanges, sports competitions, gliding, and camping excursions.

Many Cadets look forward to camps and courses that they can take part in during the summer - from two weeks of general training, to eight-week national courses on many subjects including the opportunity to acquire a power flight license. At summer training, the Cadets have the opportunity to meet other Cadets from all over Canada.
The squadron is always open to new members. For more information on becoming a Cadet or volunteering for leadership, contact Stephanie Rutledge at 519-396-2115, or drop by the Royal Canadian Legion on Lambton Street, Monday nights between 7-9 p.m.
